Join us on June 13 for the Greater Walton Lions Club Twilight Golf Tournament! With door prizes, food, drinks, raffle items (in the past including) big-screen TVs, Patio Furniture Sets, Fire Pits, High-End Grills and so much more, it is SURE to be a great time! And at only $60, where else can you get so much for so little?
Proceeds from this charity event will go to support the Greater Walton Lions Club in its efforts to help those in need in Walton County. We offer vision screenings for school children, and assistance for vision-related needs throughout the community- glasses, surgeries, and more! We also support the Lions Camp for the Blind- a wonderful experience helping children of all ages to become independent and have fun away from the "normalcy" of home-life, while challenging themselves in a supervised, engaging environment. The Monroe Club also supports the local "Shop-With-A-Hero initiative at Christmas, as well as Leader Dogs For the Blind- an organization that trains and places seeing-eye dogs with those in need.
50% of proceeds will be given to the Georgia Lions Camp for the Blind- an immersive experience for those with vision impairment, allowing participants to realize their ability to overcome obstacles they face every day!
